That One Ingredient: Cheese with Rick Lopez | Made In Cookware
Просмотров 65121 день назад
Every chef has that one ingredient they are incredibly particular about when it comes to their cooking. In this series, we dive deep into the ingredient Made In's chef customers can't cook without. For Rick Lopez, it's cheese. And not just any cheese, a cheese created just for his restaurant, La Condesa, in Austin, TX. He collaborated with Joaquin Avellan, master cheese maker and owner of Dos L...

once I chose carbon I never turned back
Our Made In Carbon steel is well seasoned and well loved in our house.
Amazing imagery. Never thought to care about the riveted handle until I watched the video. Nice one!
Carbon does not leave my stovetop!
I love Carbon Steel, its my favorite. I never thought I'd be able to master it but I did. I'm now a szn master.
I bought a carbon steel pan and now I'm hooked! Was so excited when I saw there was a griddle, got one right away and we use it alllllll the time!
Carbon are the most slept on pans! Top tier for sure
I somehow managed to snag one of the Tom pans before they sold out and it lives on our stovetop now. Using it daily and it just keeps getting better! Cannot even imagine going back to my old smithy cast iron at this point.
there are only two pans used consistently enough to warrant constant display on my stovetop: the carbon steel griddle and frying pan. these changed the game for me!
what a premium material. the best for searing and grilling!
the made in carbon is the most used item in my house, we love it!
carbon steel = kitchen workhorse
made in carbon steel pans are used in my kitchen almost daily...if not every day. From eggs in the morning to steaks and fish at night.
I love cooking with carbon steel!
Cooking time per pound? I usually get a 3lb bird for just myself and a 4-5lb bird when I'm cooking for more people.
Dont cook fish. cooked fish is NASTY
👍👍 2, 👍 3 thumbs up. Helpful. I like that you also covered too much & not enough of oiling,...
I made this last night for the first time Your recipe is genius!!!!!!! It was so delicious!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
no-pan makes the best steak. Grill it.
A little butter hahaha
Hey bro, thanks for the vid! Just wanting to confirm. When applying oil for seasoning, do you have to wipe the oil off as if you're getting rid of the oil before starting the seasoning process?
I've seen Hispanic people make this and your adding a whole bunch of very much not need extra buulchid you have no idea wtf your doing your trying to professionalism a normal meal TOO MUCH EXTRA BOOOOOO THUMBS DOWN 😂👎👎👎👎👎
Thank you
Why did my grape see oil get frothy after the first set of potatoes I blanched? Help!!!

does it work on an electric old coil stove
I don’t understand what the leather handles are for, if you’re supposed to remove them when you’re using greasy food. Much of the food you will be using is greasy. And then you have to wait for it to cool before washing. So there’s virtually no reason to move it at all when it’s hot. Making the handle covers effectively useless
All my frying pans are carbon steel. How else can you do French omelettes?
thank you for all the tips! Cousin sent a chocolate cake over for dads birthday and it is basically black. Its been baked in so many times. I spent the last few days with some enzyme soap I got, clr and even oven cleaner. I got a small patch of shine in the middle, but boy is it being difficult. I am gonna try level 3 now. I hope it works so I can take it back to my cousin to hear "why did you buy me a new pan?" An I can tell her it's the same pan
Could have been a 3 minute video
Just received mine and was glad to see it was crafted with the same care and attention to detail as my Made In carbon steel pan. Most of my time is spent on a gas grill or a smoker. I also have a barrel cooker, a flat top, an Ooni 16" Koda and a Weber kettle. I'll experiment with each and see how to best use the griddle. Here's a little known bonus... There were some who reviewed on Amazon that the griddles width didn't allow some folks to use it in the oven. But what may be a bonus for some folks is that the handles actually fit into the oven just like my wire racks do. In fact, it's a perfect fit. So much like my pan, I could technically sear larger portions or cuts on the gas cook top and then place into the oven to finish. Looking forward to this.
I luv this guy,he knows what he’s talking about & knows how to fix or get pans in cooking order very knowledgeable
yummy!!!!! good job, chef!!!!!
Why am I the only one that Bar Keepers Friend not working for? Sucks! 😫
1:23 3:30
3:30 i like that you went thru the regular steps to show first 4:10, 4:40 8:35
His omelette looks like what I get at McDonald's. Factory smooth.
Thank you your une for reading my mind creepy but on point exactly what I was wondering … how to clean my rusty cast iron pan and season it
We are here to help!
Can that be done to stainless steel? Minus the scrubbing oc.
You don’t need to, cook with animal fat the the oil burning issue goes away. Also ensure your pan is piping hot before use. - unless it’s eggs lol
That pan is genius!!!! Wings look perfect ❤❤
Just bought the griddle. Now I need those legs for camping. 😮
Wrong. Honing rods do NOT sharpen knives. They keep them straight. A steel sharpening rod sharpens knives.
It's good... But I gotta have my charr on itt
I am in love with olive oil cake, and I've made it 5 times in the past two months. This recipe is a great variation on the ones that I've made so far, and I cannot wait to try it.
I’ve been a carbon steel customer for years. I absolutely love these pans. Having something that has a cooking profile of cast iron with the weight of a stainless pan means I rarely pull anything else out in my kitchen.
STOP SHOWING THE SIDE OF SOMEONE'S HEAD... they should be facing the camera when they are speaking to us. That "side interview" is a DUMBASS IDEA. It is incredibly stupid and annoying. That nonsense should have been shut down the moment some moron first started doing it 20 years ago.
Honestly, their 12” Carbon Steel is easily my favorite pan
Finally, got a 10" carbon steel pan a few months ago. It has replaced my 10" stainless clad pan for cooking steaks and pork. Slowly moving to cooking fish and poultry in it. Eggs, not so much. No matter what they say. So far the 10" pan is all I'll need at home cooking for two though. Thanks, though to MadeIn, it is a great pan.
love my carbon steel pans and griddle.
The Carbon 8, 10, and 12 in frys are my workhorses in the kitchen.
